About The Position

Comfort Keepers is seeking Home Care Aide (HCA) Caregivers for immediate work in the Modesto, CA area. As HCA Caregivers, we pride ourselves on providing attentive in-home care to seniors and fostering loving and dedicated relationships with them and their families. Through non-medical home caregiver assistance, you will not only positively affect a senior’s day but their entire lives.

Requirements

• Submit to criminal background investigation (20 year), motor vehicle driving record check and pre-employment drug screening
• Possess valid current driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle
• Possess PCA, HHA or CNA license or have 6 months experience as a caregiver (preferred but not required)
• Possess high school diploma or GED
• Be able to service the Modesto and Turlock, CA area

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes
• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
• Help seniors get into and out of bed as needed
• Help seniors use the restroom when needed
• Perform duties as assigned on senior care service plan
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home
