About The Position
Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Home Based Family Educator in the Beaver Falls area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by "helping individuals and families with life's changing needs". The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. The Home Based Family Educator is responsible for providing child development services, social services, health services, and parent involvement services to families including home visits, socializations, advocacy and crisis intervention in accordance with federal, state, and program guidelines. The Home-based Family Educator will work with typically developing children and children with disabilities to effectively implement the Early Head Start home-based curriculum. This position must meet requirements per Federal Head Start Performance Standards, licensing and regulatory standards and Lifesteps' policies and procedures. This full-time position works a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm with weekends off! AGENCY VEHICLE PROVIDED
