The Home-Based Clinician provides support and direction to the Children and Family Services program, assisting children/adolescents with their therapeutic goals and objects as outline in their individual treatment plans.
Requirements
A master’s level degree in human services/appropriate RI licensure (e.g. LCSW, LICSW, LMHC)
Experience working with children and families
Superb organization and advocacy skills
Valid, current driver's license with an acceptable record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Must meet all Rhode Island eligibility requirements for working with people with disabilities as set forth by the Attorney General’s Office of RI.
Responsibilities
Completing initial assessments with children/families
Developing treatment plans with families
Providing child-specific training to direct support staff working in the home
Coaching parents using modeling and psycho-education
Facilitating group treatments
Collaborating with outside providers such as schools, hospitals, and other agencies
