About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Home and Community based Therapists to join their growing New York team. Under the direction of the Program Director, HCBT Clinicians will provide services and care to patients in accordance with NFS’ policies. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing and well-regarded organization expanding throughout NY and nationally. NFS Home and Community Based Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential. They provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral health needs, utilizing multiple evidence-based practices that promote families' strengths. The position requires in-person visits to clients' homes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) and Limited Permit in the state of NY
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
• Excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Some afternoon and evening availability
