The Holter/Pacemaker Tech is responsible for monitoring and managing cardiac devices, including telephoning and internet device patients, retrieving and providing reports to physicians, and enrolling new device implant patients in monitoring systems. Key duties involve contacting patients for missed appointments, applying and educating patients on holter monitors, editing holter monitor reports, and responding to patient inquiries. The role also includes administrative tasks such as using EHR software, communicating with various medical staff, backing up systems, purging records, billing, and managing supplies.
