Holiday Tree Associate (Full- Time)
About The Position
Signature Retail Services is hiring Full-Time Holiday Tree Associates to help bring the magic of the season to life! We've partnered with a regional Christmas tree farm to stock, transport, and maintain beautiful, fresh-cut trees at top big-box home improvement stores across Los Angeles County. This is a seasonal, full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule- perfect for college students or individuals looking to earn extra income during the holiday season! This position offers a competitive pay rate of 24.00- $25.00/hr. Associates will travel to and work across the following store locations as assigned: Covina Pasadena Glendora Monrovia Burbank Baldwin Park El Monte West Covina Glendale
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Proof of a valid driver's license and be eligible to operate a rental vehicle.
- Access to a smartphone with internet access, phone, text, and email capabilities for in-store reporting tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively and follow through on daily tasks independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- This position involves duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, walking, and safely climbing ladders.
- This position involves regular lifting requirements of 50 lbs without assistance throughout the shift.
- Paid training is provided on weekdays.
Responsibilities
- Travel daily between assigned store locations using your own vehicle (2-3 stores per day).
- Perform routine tree maintenance tasks including watering and trimming to maintain appearance and freshness.
- Inspect trees regularly for discoloration or browning and remove damaged or unsellable product as needed.
- Maintain a full and organized sales floor by replenishing tree stock throughout the day.
- Coordinate and execute inventory transfers of trees between stores (truck will be provided by the company on designated days).
- Dispose of unsold trees at the end of the season in accordance with the farm's guidelines and store policies.
- Accurately document work completed at each location and report any issues or supply needs.
