About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking certified and licensed caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA) to join our compassionate team serving seniors through the winter season. Bring joy, peace of mind, and a smile to someone’s day! Positions available for Gainesville and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Current Virginia PCA, HHA, or CNA license
• CPR certification and negative TB screening
• Clean background check in accordance with VA HCO regulations
• Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle (optional)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and safely assist clients

Responsibilities

• Provide quality personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Support with safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals, assist with errands, and light housekeeping
• Offer companionship and meaningful connection
• Medication reminders and recordkeeping
• Provide safe transportation for errands or outings
