Key Responsibilities: Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment to lift and move materials within the facility. Position and secure loads using chains, slings, and other rigging equipment. Communicate with ground personnel using hand signals, radios, or other approved methods. Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of cranes and rigging equipment. Report any mechanical issues, unsafe conditions, or equipment defects immediately. Follow standard operating procedures and comply with OSHA safety regulations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks or production lines when required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work closely with supervisors, production staff, and logistics teams to ensure workflow efficiency. Participate in ongoing safety and equipment training as required. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Proven experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of crane operations, load charts, and rigging principles. Ability to read and interpret work orders, load specifications, and safety instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed. Must pass a practical evaluation and safety training prior to operating equipment.
