This position is responsible for the operation and flow of the hoist station within the powder coat department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Lift truck operator experience preferred (training available).
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals.
  • Must demonstrate clear communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements.
  • Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must demonstrate competency in coating procedure.
  • Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary.
  • Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including coating gums, pumps, compressors, heating units, tape measures, etc.
  • Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
  • Must possess successful problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc.
  • Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
  • Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Manufacturing/industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hoist in a safe manner at all times.
  • Stack chassis in a safe and efficient position.
  • Inspect that wood spacers are in good/safe condition.
  • Report any defect that is present on product.
