About The Position

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Hockey Instructor at the McFetridge Sports Center. The Hockey Instructor is responsible for assisting and/or running beginner, intermediate and advanced hockey lessons for kids and adults at the McFetridge Sports Center.

Requirements

• Previous hockey playing experience
• Higher level of skating experience
• Ability to teach skating and hockey skills to children aged 3-18 years old
• Availability on weekday evenings

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching or coaching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• General fitness experience

Responsibilities

• Assist and or lead Learn-to Skate Hockey Classes
• Teach basic skating, shooting, and puck handling skills
• Assist in Hockey Skills sessions as needed
• Skate guard the Public Skates as needed
