HOC Technicians are integral to maintaining the smooth operation of our mining facilities through constant monitoring, immediate troubleshooting, and efficient response. Positioned at the heart of our operations, technicians work within our Hub Operations Center to ensure uninterrupted mining activities and quick resolution of operational issues. This role has three levels, with responsibilities and expectations scaling with each level of expertise. Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following: Employ state-of-the-art tools like Grafana, Zabbix, and PagerDuty for constant surveillance of mining operations to detect, report, and address anomalies. Respond to fleet, security, facility, energy, network, outages, and software alerts using comprehensive monitoring systems. Actively resolve issues ranging from minor technical glitches to major operational setbacks, ensuring minimal downtime. Manage CCTV systems and maintain secure access to mining facilities. Handle energy curtailment situations using systems like AESO, ERCOT, and NYISO. Maintain clear communication channels through phone, email, Slack, and direct messages; document all incidents and actions taken for future reference. Provide support to other departments by sharing critical operational insights and data. Participate in ongoing training sessions; technicians at higher levels will also train newer or lower-level team members on best practices and system usage. Generate, audit, and manage tickets for various operational incidents using our internal systems. This team uses a shift model for HOC coverage. This shift is from 8am ET – 5pm ET.
