About The Position

The HME Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure the accurate management, delivery, and control of home medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, and related supplies. This role combines leadership, organization, and data-driven decision-making to enhance inventory control, forecasting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Combination of relevant experience and education demonstrating business acumen, technology proficiency, and inventory management expertise (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or inventory control management.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and inventory management technology preferred.
  • Must possess or quickly develop a working knowledge of all Healthkeeperz HME products.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Forecast product demand and optimize inventory to minimize shortages or overstock.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ACHC, and NC Board of Pharmacy standards.
  • Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff while promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Use EMR and inventory systems to track equipment and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
