About The Position

Provides technical assistance as needed by laboratory technologists in support of the Tulane and Children’s Hospital Transplant Programs. Assists in maintenance of patient database, provides courier services, and performs quality control as required on lab equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of computers and laboratory computer software.
• Ability to accept direction and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to walk at least four miles per day and/or ride bicycle to perform courier duties.
• High school diploma/equivalent.
• One year of laboratory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Some college science course work preferred.
• Previous lab safety training is advantaged.
