About The Position
As the HIV Surveillance Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of HIV case and laboratory data. You will provide technical assistance, quality assurance, data management, analyses and disease surveillance activities in HIV and related conditions (e.g., co-diagnoses among HIV, STIs, HCV, and TB). You will work closely with the HIV Surveillance Unit staff to maintain the ongoing operations of HIV surveillance activities and will collaborate with the other staff in the BSTI Section. This position will be cross trained to provide surge capacity for clusters and outbreak investigations of HIV or other communicable disease as they arise.
