About The Position
The AFRL DSRC ISSO Lead will be the primary point-of-contact for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining the DSRC enclave's security posture assigned acceptable risk level. Provide regular status updates to AFRL DSRC leaderships at weekly status meetings or established methods of oversight. Assignments and tasks assigned by ISSM must be completed by the ISSO in the timeline established by the ISSM. Lead and direct other local ISSOs at the AFRL DSRC to ensure continuity of the implementation of Department of Defense and HPCMPO security regulations by coordination of activities by the established timeline from the ISSMs. Candidate must possess strong and effective communication skills, both written and oral. Candidate must have a broad technical background in High Performance Computing management/support, capable of interacting and communicating with all disciplines of technical support staff at a DSRC to ensure center requirements are met.
