The Histotechnologist, working under the direction of laboratory leadership, is responsible for all aspects of processing tissue samples for histological diagnosis by a pathologist. This includes performing grossing, embedding, microtomy, special staining, and processing Immunohistochemistry slides. The role also encompasses equipment maintenance, daily quality control, and strict adherence to all policies. Clear and professional communication with internal and external clients is essential. The position is based at an assigned UR Labs location/site.
