About The Position
Michigan Medicine is seeking a Histotechnologist to join our team. This position involves performing grossing of simple biopsies, processing of tissue, embedding, microtomy, staining, coverslipping, and frozen sectioning in a high-volume academic environment. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records of quality assurance and quality control, ensure all lab equipment is maintained safely and efficiently, and perform specimen accessioning including manual and computerized data entry. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
