About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Histotechnician to join our team! Position Summary: This position receives, accessions, and performs histology laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol.

Requirements

• Associate degree and graduate of a school of Histotechnology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency, must attain certification within 18 months of hire.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform work requiring manual dexterity.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession specimens for histology testing.
• Perform histology laboratory testing according to laboratory protocols.
