About The Position
The Histotechnician I position is an entry level role designed for individuals with prior histology or other laboratory experience (e.g., laboratory assistant, cytology prep tech). The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training to execute specific technical histology functions under the general supervision of a qualified histotechnician II / histotechnologist or a higher-level professional. This role is also suitable for recent graduates of a NACCLS accredited histotechnology program who have not yet obtained their ASCP certification.
Requirements
- Previous histology or other laboratory experience (i.e., laboratory assistant, cytology prep tech, etc.)
- Recently graduated a NACCLS accredited histotechnology program and have not obtained their ASCP certification (alternative path)
