About The Position

The Histotechnician I responsibilities will include, but not be limited to accessioning samples, processing diagnostic, validation and clinical trial samples, assisting with quality control and performing histology on patient samples.

Requirements

• Associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) plus 1 year histology experience or successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histology Program is preferred.
• Must meet CLIA-88 regulations (42CFR493.1487 through 1491) for high complexity testing.
• Experience working with LIMS database, quality systems and lab automation.
• Experience with running laboratory equipment and using pipettes.

Nice To Haves

• Molecular experience preferred.
