About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
Associates degree or certificate in Histotechnology
Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
