About The Position
Full time history/social studies teachers at Newton North teach four classes. Often positions are posted before we know precisely what courses the new hire(s) will teach; strong candidates will be flexible in this regard. We teach World History in 9th and 10th grades, and U.S. History in 11th grade. We teach a wide variety of electives in History and the Social Sciences in 12th grade.
