About The Position

This creates opportunities for healthcare professionals. The Histology Technologist is responsible for developing and monitoring work activities within the Histology Lab and the Morgue. This role involves performing routine histological activities, including the receiving, preparing, and processing of surgical specimens for patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
• Current HT/HTL Certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
• One (1) year experience as a Histology Tech.
• All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.

Nice To Haves

• Immuno chemistry experience and/or training.
• Bachelor's degree in science, plus successful completion of a formal histology tech program
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
