About The Position
The purpose of this job is to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination and to perform special stains procedures.
Requirements
- Junior College/Technical School is required (An Associates Degree or 60 semester hour in an accredited institution)
- Must be ASCP registered or eligible and successful completion of the Registry exam with one year of employment or be reassigned
- Minimum of 1 to 2 Years of Position-Related Experience is required
- The position requires demonstrated computer skills in a window based environment.
Nice To Haves
- 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience is preferred
