About The Position

The Histology Technician II is responsible for cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist to review. They are also responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in anaccurate and timely manner and maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• One (1) year of clinical experience in histopathology OR
• Current American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnician Certification (HT)

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in a science related field
• Completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program
