POSITION SUMMARY: The Histology Lab Operator I is a member of the Histopathy Department responsible for assisting HT/HTLs in analyzing specimens and maintaining equipment in good condition. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists certified/licensed personnel in clinical patient testing in accordance with the SOP Perform histological preparations for the tissue whole exome sequencing laboratory with little to no errors Duties may include but not limited to: preparation of tissues, stained slides, and supporting workflow tasks Sets up equipment and assists with automated lab procedures, as applicable Assist and complete daily tasks Maintains equipment and instruments in good operating condition Maintain sufficient inventory of material, supplies, and equipment in the laboratory for the performance of duties Documents are records that run information accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Performs other duties as assigned OUR OPPORTUNITY Natera™ is a global leader in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing, dedicated to oncology, women’s health, and organ health.
