About The Position
The Histology/Electron Microscopy Technician (HEMT) processes, embeds and sections Surgical Pathology cases. The HEMT performs routine, special and immunohistochemistry stains. Mounts, labels and distributes microscopy slides to the Pathologists. Completes and maintains PM/QC records. Performs general preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment. Completes electron microscopy work and performs maintenance for the EM microscope.
