Role Overview As a PRN Histology Technician, you'll handle all phases of tissue processing from fixation to final slide preparation, ensuring accuracy and quality in support of patient diagnosis. You'll also maintain lab compliance, manage equipment, and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Requirements

ASCP Certified Histotechnician
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

ASCP Certified Technologist in Chemistry
Technical degree in Histotechnology or Associate's in a related field
Laboratory-related experience

Responsibilities

Process tissue from fixation to final slide, including special stains and techniques
Maintain required files, records, and documentation for compliance
Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
Stock and manage laboratory supplies
Use medical terminology and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Perform other duties as assigned
