Requirements

• Associate's degree with MLT (ASCP/AMT), HT (ASCP/AMT) or the equivalent in education and clinical lab experience; OR a Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved by a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent or eligible.
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
• Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3).
• Registered or eligible for registry as MLT or HT, or MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognize and address issues within the department.

Benefits
