No guarantee of hours. Implements, performs, and troubleshoots various tasks required to receive, process, and prepare patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by a pathologist. This includes logging, batching, and cutting, mounting, and complex staining procedures. Receives tissue specimens from surgical and diagnostic cases and sorts, logs, and prioritizes according to procedure. Trains other technicians. Position Reports To: Anatomic Pathology Manager
