About The Position

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup is seeking a Hiring Manager to develop and implement a successful recruiting strategy to fulfill the staffing needs of the business. This role involves recruiting and retaining service professionals for plumbing, excavation, and water cleanup teams, ensuring that the company continues to provide top-notch services as North America's largest provider in this sector.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• Experienced hiring manager with a track record of recruiting and developing a solid team of sales and service professionals
• Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail and thrives in a bustling environment
• Excellent customer service experience
• Service industry experience is strongly desired
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience sourcing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates
• Strong knowledge of advanced recruiting platforms/techniques, including the use of social media.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach and mentor new employees.
• Manage talent acquisition data through an ATS portal.
• Screen resumes and interview candidates.
• Ensure monthly manpower goals are met.
• Source and manage both active and passive candidates on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards.
• Monitor your team of new recruits, including periodic ride-alongs, to determine whether additional training is needed to ensure performance standards are met.
