About The Position

A writing assessment will be administered at the event as part of the interview process for Case Management positions. SIGN-ON BONUS! $250 sign-on bonus after the completion of 90 days of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing. $500 sign-on bonus after the completion of 6 months of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing. Requirements

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience, including case management, in intellectual/developmental disabilities, social work, special education, early childhood development, or a related field.
  • OR Master's Degree in social work, psychology, public health nursing, teaching, special education, early childhood development, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Full use of an automobile, possession of a valid California driver's license and liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or ability to provide for independent transportation.
  • Must have and maintain a safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developmental disabilities or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the services and support available to consumers as outlined in the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act.
  • Perform related work as assigned.
  • Complete the intake process.
  • Develop and implement Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Educate parents regarding developmental strategies.
  • Arrange for appropriate service intervention.
  • Make appropriate case dispositions.
  • Perform case management activities and community liaison tasks related to these cases.
