About The Position

Sarasota Memorial Nursing Rehabilitation Center is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! We provide professional nursing care to patients and families in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment. The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for a group of residents for a designated time frame. Care is provided to these residents via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The RN will be competent to provide resident care according to the specific needs of the population as defined in the unit-specific addendum. Certified Nursing Assistants perform specific tasks supportive to delivery of resident care in a long-term care environment that meets or exceeds state, federal and facility expectations under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

  • Active Florida RN License or a Multistate license for RN's.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross for both RN's and CNA's.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program for RN's.
  • Active Florida CNA License for CNA's.
  • Must have a clear background check & AHCA Level 2 screening as well as pass a drug screening.
  • Require the ability to be flexible with work assignments for CNA's.
