About The Position

Extra Space Storage is hosting an in-person hiring event for the position of Assistant Store Manager at various locations in the greater St. Louis, MO area. The event will take place on September 19th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM US/CST at 10 Strecker Rd, Ellisville, MO 63011. Candidates are encouraged to register for the event and bring a copy of their resume. The Assistant Store Manager will support daily operations, ensure cleanliness standards, build customer relationships, and manage customer accounts.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer-facing work experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Current valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met through continuous maintenance of the site.
• Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, process customer payments, and complete daily bank deposits.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with all Extra Space employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
