About The Position

Extra Space Storage is hosting an in-person hiring event for the position of Assistant Store Manager at various locations in the greater Dallas, TX area. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 11th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM US/CST at 2600 State Hwy 121, Lewisville, TX 75056. The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of self-storage facilities, ensuring high cleanliness standards and operational excellence while building customer relationships and managing accounts.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer-facing work experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Current valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met through continuous maintenance of the site.
• Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage.
• Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, and process customer payments.
• Protect company culture by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
