About The Position

The 1st Shift Picker and Packer position at Aerotek involves performing various tasks related to picking and packing operations in a warehouse setting. Candidates will be required to rotate between different tasks throughout the day, ensuring efficient handling of products from selection to packing and shipping. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that orders are accurately fulfilled.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours and perform various tasks as needed.
• Basic understanding of scanning and packing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in pick/pack/ship operations.
• Rotate between picking and packing tasks throughout the day.
• In the pick area, use a cart with multiple scan codes to select parts from racks and place them on the cart.
• Move completed carts to the next area and wait for the next cart to arrive.
• In the packing area, scan order sheets to print packing slips.
• Pack products, packing slips, and additional items (such as batteries, candy, stickers) into boxes.
• Place packed boxes on a conveyor belt for sealing, labeling, and shipping.
