Hiring an Experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Child/Adolescent. Summit Oaks, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), offers an exciting opportunity for an Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to become part of our dynamic team. Located in Summit, New Jersey and is one of the longest standing mental health and substance-use treatment centers in the state. Since 1902, Summit Oaks Hospital has been providing quality mental health care for youths (5–17) and adults (18 and older) who have been struggling with psychiatric and substance-use issues. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new or experienced PMHNP!

Requirements

• NJ License Required
• PMHNP 2-3 years of experience preferred
• Experience in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to child and adolescent patients
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in weeknight call twice a month
