About The Position
Primus Home Care is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide essential support to a client located in the Gold Coast area of Downtown Chicago. This position is available immediately and offers a unique opportunity to work with a client who is fully mobile and does not require assistance with transfers or mobility. The caregiver will play a crucial role in enhancing the client's quality of life through companionship and various supportive tasks. The work environment is friendly and accommodating, with parking provided for caregivers who may need it, although having a car is not a requirement for this position. It is important to note that the client has a cat in her residence, so comfort with pets is essential. The caregiver will be expected to work on a part-time basis, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, totaling 24 hours per week. The responsibilities include providing companionship, preparing meals, performing light housekeeping duties, reminding the client to take her medications, and offering transportation assistance as needed.
