Under general direction of the Resident Services Program Manager, with support from Parent Possible and the HIPPY Program Coordinator, the HIPPY Program Home Visitor implements the HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) program with families living in BHP housing communities. HIPPY is an evidenced-based program that works in-home with families supporting parents in their critical role as their child's first and most important teacher. Home visitors deliver services according to the HIPPY USA model, providing parents with support, instruction, motivation, inspiration, and guidance for child education in the home. The HIPPY Home Visitor implements HIPPY program, conducts home visits, and supports families with referrals and community connections. The coordinator may also support other complementary programs as assigned. This is a part-time position.
