About The Position

The Hipot operator on the second shift (4:00 pm - 12:00 am) or third shift
(12:00 am - 8:00 am) is responsible for operating various hi-pot equipment to
verify the products meet established quality standards. Responsibilities include
accurately recording all relevant quality data, properly packaging and labeling
reels for final shipment to the end customer and maintaining a strong awareness
of quality issues and deviations. The position also requires the ability to
operate respool equipment and a willingness to perform additional tasks as
assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines
• Knowledgeable with in-process testing procedures for manufacturing
• Excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently
• Ability to work required overtime
• Basic Computer skills
• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe situations or equipment immediately
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Strong communication and people skills required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
