The Health Information Management Document Capture Team Lead is responsible for coordinating the work performed by the Document Capture Technicians. Coordinates functions to ensure all patient records are properly processed with all physician documentation, nursing documentation, monitoring unprocessed electronic work queues daily and assigning team members for processing. Responsible for coordination and troubleshooting of Electronic Medical Records equipment, Training, Mentoring and Educating New team members. Monitors Productivity and Quality Measures and assigns tasks through electronic task queues for all team members and performs other duties as assigned. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
