The Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst is responsible for the ongoing management of medical record quality and completeness to ensure a complete legal health record and its release. The HIM Analyst ensures that the record information maintains its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper files and electronic systems. This position is responsible for assisting physicians, staff and ancillary departments with EPIC related deficiencies and questions, running EPIC reports, analyzing charts, assisting with release of information (ROI), retrieving, assembling, validating, and performing quality review of charts.
