About The Position
The HIM Analyst is responsible for maintaining personal health information of Carle patients through scanning, processing and reviewing medical records in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements. The HIM Analysts will perform a variety of complex tasks such as identity reviews, chart corrections, various audits, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and quality. HIM Analyst is expected to have a good understanding of HIM operational workflows related to scanning and chart analysis. The HIM Analyst position may be eligible to work at home after training and with management approval.
