Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Six months – 1 year in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and carry containers and trays loaded with food and liquids.
  • Able to read, speak and understand English.
  • Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.
  • Stand continuously for long periods of time.
  • Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Act as liaison between the front of house staff and back of house staff to ensure smooth food delivery.
  • Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of all ingredient details to each dish on the menu.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff.
  • Refill water and periodically check on guests to handle any issues promptly.
  • Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Clean and reset tables.
