About The Position

The Transportation Driver shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Drive truck over established route to deliver, unload and account for products of the dairy industry to customer's place of business and distribution points. Home Daily. Must follow all Department of Transportation regulations. Records transactions and prepares paperwork. Maintains proper logs and other information as required by the Company and D.O.T. Listens to and resolves service complaints.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A commercial driver's license.
• Minimum Age: 21 per Federal D.O.T. regulations.
• Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen.
• Must have a minimum of two years transportation experience and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck over established route to deliver, unload and account for products of the dairy industry to customer's place of business and distribution points.
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations.
• Record transactions and prepare paperwork.
• Maintain proper logs and other information as required by the Company and D.O.T.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Load and unload product at destination and carry merchandise.
• Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back continually.
• Drag stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds throughout the shift.
• Keep the inside of truck clean and perform routine maintenance on truck.
• Work and drive in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.
