About The Position

The Building Maintenance position involves providing general and detailed maintenance, including patching, painting, hardware repairs, and other repairs/replacement work as required. The role also includes performing routine facility and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Requires a complete understanding of all machinery including operating adjustments, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication for discussing maintenance issues.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
• Minimum age: 18.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance on HVAC (i.e. changing air filters, belts, grease).
• Keeping documents of inspections and problems.
• Utilizing construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing, and welding.
• Performing overall building maintenance including painting, lighting, installing equipment, fixing ceiling tiles, and flooring.
• Proactively identifying maintenance issues and finding the best solutions to address issues.
