About The Position

Responsible for the correct shipment of all orders to customers and
subsidiaries. Responsible for accurate export and trade related documentations –
errors in the documentation can result in enforcement actions and corporate
fines. Responsible for the accuracy of incoming shipments i.e. part number, cost
etc. and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 5-7 years’ shipping and/or receiving experience preferred in an organization that utilizes a computer-based reporting system.
• Well-developed organizational, computer data entry skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to daily work requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills including telephone techniques, listening skills sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users and management.
• Must be physically capable of lifting/moving lb. Packages.
• Proficient math skills.
• Able to handle diverse, high volume, detailed tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to understand and complete export shipping documents

Nice To Haves

• Export control and hazardous material certification desired
• Knowledge of import/export practices and regulations desired.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is desired. Forklift experience desired.

• Review and approve pro-forma invoices prior to shipments from Highyag GmbH.
• Complete shipper duty verification for 7501 for shipments coming from Highyag GmbH.
