Position summary: Responsible for engineering design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
- 0-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
- Proficient in discipline specific design software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Engineer-in-training certification
- Related experience
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
Responsibilities
- Assist with alternative studies
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task
- Perform design computations
- Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
- Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
- Perform other related duties as assigned
