• Experience in highway maintenance, equipment operation, construction inspection, or materials inspection and testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine sampling, inspection, and testing of materials used in highway construction.
• Maintain construction records.
• Inform contractors and project inspectors of construction quality issues and/or non-complying work.
• Perform routine maintenance and service of DOT equipment and vehicles.
• Use DOT technical devices and software applications.
• Operate snow equipment.
