About The Position

Highway Technician 1 (HT1) What You Will Do: You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer. You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing. You will perform snow & ice operations. Requirements

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
• Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
• 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
